Meet the Stars

Introducing the birds, the stars of the show!
Mrs Robinson
Mrs Robinson
This is the lovable and cuddly Mrs Robinson, our beautiful European Eagle Owl. As one of the largest species of owl in the world, a wing span of over 6-foot and weighing in at 9lb, she’s a gorgeous lady. Flashing her bright orange eyes, Mrs Robinson always gets the attention.
Barnie
Barnie
Here is Barnie the Barn Owl with his heart-shaped face, buff back and wings and pure white underparts. The Barn Owl is our distinctive and much-loved countryside bird and, as Barnie was hand-reared by our Falconer Mike, he’s always up for a cuddle.
Dusk
Dusk
About the size of a pigeon, Dusk the Tawny Owl boasts a rounded head and a ring of dark feathers surrounding those big eyes. Aptly named due to his nocturnal behaviour, Dusk was rescued by us after damaging his wing and is usually caught falling asleep on his perch by the end of the day!
Ben
Ben
This is Ben, our Little Owl who thinks he’s 10ft tall and built like an Eagle! Raised from an egg the size of a walnut, Ben now stands at a moderately impressive 5-inches tall. Despite being a member of the smallest species of owls in the UK, Ben’s boisterous attitude makes up for what he lacks in height!
Bonnie
Bonnie
Bonnie by name, bonny by appearance! A stunning hybrid Falcon crossed between a Gyrfalcon - the largest falcon in the world - and the Saker falcon, which is renowned for its power, speed, stamina and capability of diving for prey at 200 miles per hour!
Spitfire
Spitfire
As one of our favourite birds, Spitfire is a stunning female Kestrel who always has something to chirp about! Spitfire loves to be the centre of attention, both at home and on the display ground - a right little character!
Sky
Sky
Combining brains and brawn, our magnificent Harris Hawk Sky is noted for its behavior of hunting cooperatively in packs, while other raptors often hunt alone. An exceptionally intelligent and social bird, Sky is a pleasure to fly and hunt with and always aims to please.
